Support needed for solo farmer needing a hand in Koreelah, NSW and nearby Stanthorpe, Qld.
Putting this call out for some volunteer help on the farm.
I'm a solo farmer operating a biodynamic (not certified) small mixed farm and food nursery based in Koreelah NSW and Stanthorpe, QLD. I've been through the wringer the last few years and I'm still in recovery mode from damage from 2019 fires, 2020 Floods, 2022 Floods, 2023 Fires and now I'm battling a serious health issue which has had me basically bedridden since mid - Oct 23.
Don't have much in the way of accommodation, I'm still living in a shed with outdoor camp kitchen and facilities, so best if you have your own camper, but can offer a beautiful National Park location to park it.
Jobs are going to be mainly cleanup -
+ grass started growing when I ended up bedridden so is chest high everywhere, lots of brush cutting
+ Care of pigs and poultry
+ fencing and rebuilding animal cages
+ prepping fire wood for winter
+ rebuilding nursery benches and irrigation systems,
+ repotting plants
+ relocating equipment from where saved from disaster mode
Great if your self-sufficient worker as Im not capable of much work each day.
Cant be a smoker or have pets (due to my health issues)
Choose your own hours of work, length of stay
I'd love to be able to pay you but Im struggling financially.
