Fencing and other odd jobs
We are a young couple running a sheep and cropping property near Trundle NSW. We have taken over the farm from my husband David’s father who became too unwell to run it. We are in the process of rebuilding the farm and getting everything back on track.
After flooding in 2022 and a few too many years of just being patched up we have some fencing in need of replacing. We are hoping someone could give us a hand to get this fencing done.
We will supply all the equipment and we are also happy to help you learn if you'd don't have experience. We would just really appreciate the assistance and extra set of hands.
We also have a number of other jobs we would greatly appreciate some help with, so if fencing isn't for you or you'd love to stay longer we have plenty to keep you busy.
- Welding (mainly on gates and rails in the sheep yards)
- help to clear out an area near our recently relocated house. (Mainly old trees, metal rubbish, concrete etc.)
- put up a fence up around our hosue
- help to set up a garden/lawn
- paint outside of the house (small 2 bedroom home)
- help to finish constructing a shower near the woolshed for our shearer's (concrete is done we just need the shed put up, water connected etc.
For any job we would provide all the equipment you need.
We are open to either paying you or work in exchange for meals and accommodation.
We can offer our caravan with power and water connected. (please note this does not have a shower or toilet so you are welcome to use the one in our house or woolshed)
Alternatively if you have a caravan or other accommodation we are happy to get you connected to power, water etc.
We are located just 7kms from Trundle where there is accommodation at the pub, RSL or BNB which we would be happy to cover the cost of for you.
