Help a farmer reduce his step count!

I am a solo farmer in my mid 70s who is wanting to slow down a tad. I am very proud of my farm, whose produce has supplied Australians with food since 1847! The farm was particularly impacted by past floods, having lost significant fencing, machinery, and infrastructure. To give you an example of the sheer amount of flood water that the area experienced, the original homestead which still stands today, lost 2 water tanks which both ended up hundreds of meters away in different directions.

My tractor is very large and digging the holes for these fences with this tractor is the equivalent of using a sledgehammer to crack a nut. However, I need an extra pair of eyes as I can’t see the ground from the driver’s seat. Because of this I have to climb in and out of the tractor to make sure the angle I am drilling the hole at remains consistent. When the hole is dug, I then use the tractor to direct the post into the hole. I sometimes need to get out of the tractor more than 20 times per hole. At my age to say I don’t want to do that many steps is an understatement!

If an extra pair of eyes and hands were outside to direct me, that would be invaluable and would help would cut the time from afternoons work to about 30 minutes per hole. I am also in the process of repairing my water infrastructure so a little help there would be great if it were available. My property is located 20 minutes from Taree and I have plenty of space for a motorhome if you could lend me a hand (and a pair of eyes!)
