We’re looking for a capable and kind volunteer (or volunteer couple) to lend a hand on a property located conveniently close to Rockhampton, QLD.
The farmer is in his 80s (still sharp, just taking things at a gentler pace these days) and would really appreciate some extra help around the place. There’s absolutely no expectation of full days- hours are very flexible and can easily fit around your own schedule.
Jobs may include:
• Cleaning up scrap metal around the property
• General tidy-up jobs
• Some basic plumbing work around the house (if you’re capable)
What’s on offer:
• Plenty of space for a campervan or motorhome
• A relaxed, no-pressure environment
• Casual payment negotiable for the right applicant, depending on the task being completed
• Opportunity to stay on-farm and help out at your own pace
