Hi there Farm Army,
I'm on the lookout for a skilled individual (or couple) to help out on my cattle farm near the town of Gulargambone, NSW. I need an extra pair of hands on my farm, preferably one experienced in working with cattle, checking water sources, maintaining boundaries, and tackling various odd jobs, including fencing and general farm upkeep. For the right candidate, accommodation can be provided- or access to power and water is available for those that are self-contained. This position is available to volunteers or a casual wage can be negotiated. As I might have to go off farm for a few days, some general caretaking will also be required on occasion.
In your free time, the town has much to offer for those keen on exploring! Meaning ‘watering hole for many Galahs’ in the local Aboriginal language, the town is situated along the banks of the Castlereagh River and is not only known for its corrugated tin Galah sculptures but also boasts a vibrant street art scene. The Gulargambone River Walk is also a great opportunity to explore the abundance of nature the area has to offer.
