Like many farming families, we are doing it tough through the ongoing drought and could really use a helping hand.
We are a family-run sheep and cattle farm, approx. 30km west of Stanthorpe, with a small historic village of around 6 old buildings that are in need of some love & attention.
We would love to welcome practical, enthusiastic people who are happy to help wherever needed. Whether its fencing, general farm maintenance or helping bring our historic village back to life, any help would be greatly appreciated!
No particular skills or time frames are necessary. You could come for a week or a month or whatever suits.
Unfortunately, due to the financial pressure of the drought we are unable to offer wages. We can offer a campsite with access to water, electricity, Wi-Fi, bathroom facilities, along with the opportunity to experience life on a working farm in a beautiful part of Qld. Lots of wineries and national parks to explore.
We also offer opportunities to help with the management of feral pests, including deer, on the property. (For those with suitable experience & license)
