Short term caretaker needed for medical appointment on Remote Grazing property

Wanaaring
New South Wales
A farmer with a remote grazing property located between Wanaaring and Tibooburra, NSW is seeking someone to caretake the property while he attends medical appointments. Medical appointments are dependent on when a caretaker might be available.
As this is a remote area, travellers should take usual outback safety precautions. A 4WD vehicle is recommended, and communications such as radio or Starlink may be helpful as mobile reception is not guaranteed. Roads and Maritime NSW is also a good resource for checking road conditions in the region before travel.
This is not heavy manual work. Your main tasks will include:
• Checking in on the house
• Feeding the dogs and chickens
• Keeping an eye on the property
The cattle are already looked after, so no livestock work is required.
Accommodation and food can be provided, or if you prefer, power and water access for your motorhome.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a quiet caretaker role in a remote area.
If you’re available and interested, please get in touch to discuss arrangements. A volunteer is preferred but payment can be arranged for the right person/couple.
Thank you
