Volunteer caretakers position near Einasleigh QLD Start date from the 3rd or 8th April until the 25th April for starters. If it all works well and you would like to stay longer we can talk about that I work away during the week and as such I am looking for caretakers for my 20 acre block at Einasleigh. I will be away for most of the month of April.

A little about Einasleigh and wonderful little place to just get away from all the hassels of everyday life. It is small town located approx 400km SW of Cairns and 400km NW of Townsville. The town is home to 30 inhabitants, a pub and post office. There is access to weekly grocery items from nearby Forsayth on the bi-weekly mail run. The area has plenty of freshwater fishing spots, catfish, black brim ect with only freshwater crocodiles. We have had a great wet season and the country is absolutely beautiful. This is the best time to experience this part of the world. The Royal Flying Doctor Service visits the town once and month and a registered nurse comes every second Wednesday. Einasleigh is located in the Etheridge Shire which is home to many major tourist attractions, such as Cobbold Gorge, The Ted Elliot Mineral Collection and Undara.
