Since the Sir Ivan fire 30 months ago (when much of our ground cover has been lost), we have received less than half our average annual rainfall. This means our ground cover has not had much chance to re-establish, and rainfall events are causing unprecedented erosion.
If there were people who could be available to collect rocks (we have basalt country) and place them strategically into gullies, this would reduce the destructive water velocity and stabilise pasture and farming paddocks before further damage is done. There are also plumbing, fencing, gardening, mechanical and farm sitting openings.
Accommodation and meals provided. We are situated near Dunedoo NSW. Start anytime that best suits you.
