We have a very diverse 55 acre rural property in the Mid-North Coast of NSW that is actively participating in the NSW Land for Wildlife program. We have registered a specific detailed plan to ensure our property maintains a healthy wildlife corridor for species in our area. Our property is an active path for wallabies, deer, echidnas, goannas, carpet pythons, frogs and a large range of birds and insects.
Our land is comprised of gently undulating paddocks that contain wet and dry sclerophyll forests, rain forest gullies, dam, and a running creek. We have developed and registered a plan with Land for Wildlife that will see us restore the health and re-vegetation of these areas as well as the areas surrounding the residence.
We are in need of assistance to complete the activities of the plan. This involves the removal of species including lantana, camphor laurel, privet and groundsel bush as well as internal fence removal and perimeter fence maintenance.
We can offer comfortable, self contained accommodation with beautiful views and food in exchange for your efforts. Our property offers a beautiful surrounding and unparalleled experience to be and work in. We are 20 minutes away from some of the most incredible beaches and rivers in NSW.
We are 6 minutes outside the small rural town of Bowraville. Nearest town Macksville or Nambucca Heads, NSW.
