Anna Hick
We are a family of 6 looking to have a well deserved break over the Christmas period after what has been an epic year!
We are looking for someone reliable and capable of caretaking our cattle station located 14km outside of Julia Creek in north west QLD for approximately 7-10 days over Christmas (roughly about the 20th December until the 1st January). They can be single or a couple, will have their own self contained accommodation, and food and electricity will be provided. The main duties involve the animals around the homestead – we have 5 working dogs, a few chickens and 2 pigs. The station itself is just over 50,000 acres and while it is pretty self sufficient keeping an eye on waters, fences and bushfires is also required Quite simply, we just need someone reliable, trustworthy and capable to keep the animals alive, the homestead neat and tidy and an eye on the station.
