We would really appreciate some help for a few hours morning and afternoon to run a new fence line using bobcat and posthole digger etc , standing posts, helping to ram some Iron pegs with a motorised hammer , and running wires, tying off etc.

Also, for anyone interested in Landcare, illness has prevented us from doing our annual Noogoora burr eradication program and Salvinia check along the beautiful dogwood creek and gullies, and we would very much appreciate some help from anyone who would be interested in walking at your own pace along the creek banks looking for these plants and either spot spraying noogoora burr that have not yet gone to seed, or pulling out and bagging those that have seeds, and reporting back with a position on any possible Salvinnia finds in the waterway, that might have made it’s way downstream from a serious outbreak up stream.

We can offer a nice camp site on the creek, with fishing if you have your own camper and are self contained, or camping at the house if you need power / showers, toilet etc, or a bed and meals in the house.

Tagged as: lending a hand with fencing and landcare- walking along creek bank/ gully with a bag or a light sprayer.
